Agenda

  1. To receive apologies for absence given in advance of the meeting.
  2. To consider the approval of reasons given for absence.
  3. Declarations of Interest

To receive any declarations of interest not already declared under the council’s code of conduct or members Register of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

  1. Questions from the public

This is a public session, members of the public will adhere to the rules set by the council for this session. Thirty minutes are allowed to raise issues and ask questions of the Parish Council.

  1. Minutes of the previous Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 4 December 2025

To approve the minutes as a correct record, for signature by the Chairman.

  1. Matters Arising

To receive the following information from the Clerk’s report on the following ongoing issues and approve further action where necessary.

A) Fire Risk Assessment

To receive an update on work required to hall fire doors.

B) Initial Washroom Hygiene 

To note the entry in to a 48 month contract, the signing of the direct debit mandate - £71.69 + vat per quarter and the installation of the equipment on 23/12/2025

C) Fixed Wiring Remedials

To update the council on the 5-Year Fixed Wiring remedial works and quotations received

D) Floor Repairs

To receive an update on planned repairs to the main hall floor.

E) Grit & Bins

To receive an update on the planning application for the positioning of the new grit bin, and note that the rock salt has been collected from the supplier and the five existing grit bins filled as of 11/12/25.

F) Gov.UK Domain and Parish Council Email

  • To note the signing of the direct debit mandate for £54.39 + vat monthly
  • To note that the Clerks email address and Sharepoint is now live with a phased approach being taken to the transfer of the email addresses of the Councillors and discussions ongoing with RMBC on transferring the domain

G) Bank Mandate Changes

To note the updated bank mandate has been submitted to Co-Op Bank.

H) 2025 Pantomime

To note attendance at the pantomime was 57 adults and 65 children with £108 cash taken on the door.
