The Don Valley Way is a new walking trail that follows the River Don from Doncaster to Sheffield. It’s 29 miles long and the whole trail can be used by walkers, with approximately half of it suitable for cyclists.
Don Valley Way - Heritage walks - There are a number of Heritage Walks along the Don Valley Way. These walks range between 1.5 and 4.5 miles. Many are circular and start close to train stations.
Rotherham Rambling Club - The Rotherham Rambling Club offers walks throughout the stunning Peak District and beyond in good company.
Rotherham Metro Ramblers - Ramblers' groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
