1. To receive apologies for absence given in advance of the meeting.

2. To consider the approval of reasons given for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest

To receive any declarations of interest not already declared under the council’s code of conduct or members Register of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

4. Questions from the public

This is a public session, members of the public will adhere to the rules set by the council for this session. Thirty minutes are allowed to raise issues and ask questions of the Parish Council.

5. Minutes of the previous Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 6th July 2023

To approve the minutes as a correct record, for signature by the Chairman.

6. Visit by Becky Dickinson

Trees & Woodland Engagement Officer at Thrybergh Country Park - To discuss proposed Tree Planting and a Potential Community Orchard for Thrybergh.

7. Matters Arising

To receive information on the following ongoing issues and decide further action where necessary. 

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III Coronation – Update on plaque for the Rowan Tree planted as part of the Parish Council celebrations.

Grant Request from Thrybergh Primary School – Update on grant request.

8. Police Report

To update council on the latest local crime statistics.

9. Resignation of a Thrybergh Parish Councillor

To inform the Parish Council on the resignation of a standing councillor and to formally accept his resignation.

10. Proposed New Building Development on Fosters Site and attached Green Belt Land

To discuss the proposed development as detailed on planning applications RB2023/1030 & RB2023/1003 for the former Foster’s site.

11. D-Day 80th Anniversary

To discuss proposed event to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the D-day Landings which will be on 6th June 2024.

12. Remembrance Sunday

To discuss the detail of the event to be held Sunday 12th November.

13. Cenotaph Centenary

To discuss detail of the event to be held Friday 13th December.
