1. To receive apologies for absence given in advance of the meeting.

2. To consider the approval of reasons given for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest 

To receive any declarations of interest not already declared under the council’s code of conduct or members Register of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

4. Questions from the public  

This is a public session, members of the public will adhere to the rules set by the council for this session. Thirty minutes are allowed to raise issues and ask questions of the Parish Council.

5. Minutes of the previous Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 5th October 2023

To approve the minutes as a correct record, for signature by the Chairman.

6. Matters Arising

To receive information on the following ongoing issues and decide further action where necessary. 

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III Coronation – Update on plaque for the Rowan Tree planted as part of the Parish Council celebrations and accompanying artwork for the hall.

HSBC Bank – Update on changes to the Parish Council business account.

Remembrance Sunday – To discuss the detail of the event to be held Sunday 12th November.

Thrybergh Cenotaph Centenary – To discuss detail of the event to be held Friday 15th December.

Visit by Becky Dickinson, Trees & Woodland Engagement Officer at Thrybergh Country Park - To update on fruit tree planting by RMBC in Thrybergh.

7. Police Report 

To update council on the latest local crime statistics.

8. Various Works to the Parish Hall

To accept invoice for repairs to the toilet flushing system, building of new plinth for Coronation tree and repairs to the vandalised Cenotaph.

9. Thrybergh Parish Council Pantomime December 2023 

To update council on plans and preparations for the pantomime.

10. Planning Application RB2023/0952 

To consider and discuss planning application to install Solar PV panels to roof at Thrybergh Academy.

11. Planning Application RB2023/0949 

To consider and discuss planning application to install Solar PV panels to roof at the former schoolhouse at Thrybergh Primary, Oldgate Lane.

12. Planning Application RB2023/1424 

To consider and discuss planning application to erect a detached bungalow on a former garage site on St Leanard’s Avenue/Palmer Place.

13. Grant Request from Marie Curie Rotherham Rapid Response Nursing Service 

To consider a request for a grant towards health care provision.

14. Correspondence 

To consider the following new Correspondence received and decide action where necessary.
