1. To receive apologies for absence given in advance of the meeting.

2. To consider the approval of reasons given for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest

To receive any declarations of interest not already declared under the council’s code of conduct or members Register of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

4. Questions from the public

This is a public session, members of the public will adhere to the rules set by the council for this session. Thirty minutes are allowed to raise issues and ask questions of the Parish Council.

5. Minutes of the previous Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 4th January 2024

To approve the minutes as a correct record, for signature by the Chairman.

6. Matters Arising

To receive information on the following ongoing issues and decide further action where necessary. 

  • Coronation of King Charles III - to update council on plaque for the Rowan tree planted as part of the celebrations.
  • Planning applications RB2023/1214 for tree works on School lane - to update council on new applications RB2024/0028 which replaces the original application which has been cancelled
  • Brassed off Screening - to update council on the screening of the film Brassed off in the hall, event organised by the Silverwood Heritage Soceity

7. Police Report

To update council on the latest local crime statistics.

8. Planning Application RB2024/0009

To consider and discuss Planning Application to Erect timber gazebos to cover external seating areas at Deer Park Farm

9. Gate Repairs and Bench Renovations

To advise council on repairs to the gate on Vale Road accessing Fullerton Fields and renovations to the two benches outside St Leonard's Church.

10. Rock Salt for Grit Bin

To pass incoice from RMBC for rock salt for the 5 Parish Council bins in Thrybergh.

11. Correspondence

To consider the following new Correspondence received and decide action where necessary.

  3. NALC Chief Executive’s Bulletin.
  4. Letter of Thanks for St Gerards Church

To discuss poor service levels from HSBC and moving the account to Co-op Bank.

 To consider and approve accounts for payment January

16. To notify the Clerk of matters for inclusion on the agenda of the next meeting.

17. To confirm the date of next Parish Council Meeting
